Data recovery times can vary a lot depending on the device and what’s wrong with it. We’ve had a lot of jobs done in a couple of hours or within 24 hours but we’ve also had recovery jobs that took weeks because it was that slow to read data from the damaged hard drives. In cases like the latter and depending on the type of damage, a specialist data recovery centre might be able to read the data faster with the equipment they have at their disposal, but the cost to you would of course be much higher.
